What is the Invention Convention?
The Invention Convention is a contest where you will have the opportunity to show off an invention that you personally come up with. You will need to submit your idea to the Invention Convention Committee through a Google Form. From there, you will create a 3 minute video that will allow you to showcase your invention through the use of a working prototype, a scaled down model, or a detailed blueprint. All applicants will receive a Hershey bar, as well as be eligible for the grand prizes!

When do I need to submit my “Intent to Invent”
Intent to Invent forms are due Tuesday, March 11, 2025.

What needs to be in my video?

When are Video Submissions due?
All Invention Convention videos must be submitted by Friday, March 14, 2025 at 5:00 pm.

When is judging?
Judging will take place the week of March 17th. Guest judges will watch videos and provide feedback to the Invention Convention Committee. Winners will be announced on Thursday, March 20, 2025.
What Grand Prize Categories are available?
Grand Prizes will be awarded for the following grade levels.
